The ability to convert images from plan drawings, maps and other wide format documents to CAD format by means of a process is called vectorization. Generally, the logo designed for the business purpose is usually a low-resolution .JPG or .GIF file, that can’t be used in traditional printing services. Vectorization is the most effective solution for digitizing vector data from image sources. A vector image is an image created by numerical coordinates that are contained within the file. Vector images can be resized with virtually no loss of resolution and are much smaller files than bitmap files. Vector conversions are traced by hand and no automated process is used to do so. A vector based drawing program is used for tracing the outlines of each shape. This vectorization process ensures that your logo/image is the highest quality. The final files are in either of these formats .ai or .eps, and .pdf formats.
